Abricottrees exist (1998/00)

Anders Hultqvist writes:
Abricottrees exist/Composition Number 2 (1998/00) is, as the title indicates, the second composition in a series of works using the poem Alfabet by Inger Christensen (one of the foremost Danish poets of today) as a starting point. The poem has 1306 lines. The sections deal with the first 14 letters of the alphabet, one after the other according to a principle of growth called the Fibbonacci row of numbers.

...Anders Hultqvist’s Abricottrees exist pulls and pushes forward in a fighting spirit through an interval structure based on the golden mean. It is expansive and expressive. The interesting composition ends with curios crepitating sounds in a mood of slowly ebbing away into psychological exhaustion..
